Using the DataServer for MS SQL Server for the first time

You must make these preparations before using the DataServer:

Install the DataServer modules on the machines your configuration requires.
If you chose not to use the bundled ODBC driver, purchase and install the ODBC driver software on the machine that will execute the server component.
Verify connectivity between ODBC and the MSS database.
Create a local schema holder on the client or server machine, as appropriate. Schema holders cannot be transferred between different host machines.
